The BSc (Hons) Health and Social Care with Foundation Year is a four-year degree programme and an ideal option for students who do not meet traditional entry requirements.
The Foundation Year helps students build academic confidence and develop the core concepts, discussion skills, and study techniques required for degree-level learning.

In addition, you will gain a holistic understanding of health and social care by examining how human biology, psychology, and sociology interact to influence the health and wellbeing of individuals, families, and communities. You will also explore the role of exercise and lifestyle in promoting health and develop an appreciation of multidisciplinary perspectives in areas such as health, behaviour change, and client care.

Upon successful completion of the Foundation Year, you will progress to Level 4 of the degree, where you will build on your knowledge and experience in professional practice.
